White noise

I am still annoyed for a fact that white noise is actually machine-generated static that is used to mask annoying or distracting sounds. It works by mixing all the frequencies into one sound. So basically what I get is not music, but a wall of sound that blocks other sound. This makes me so offended because I was okay-ish to listening this noise of realm just because I was thinking this realm can be seen as other part of 'music'; rain, fire or whatsoever :/ I just hate of using word 'noise'

Of course, I can still tolerate and relax to the sound of scratchy static generated by multi channel. White noise manufacturers embed the static within sound clips of waves or rain to make it more palatable. 

Whatever. I am not going to ditch the white noise anyway. It helps me sleeping, reading, and concentrating tbh.
